I stumbled across this site earlier today, and was amazed at these pictures people have taken. I'm pretty much just your casual high school student photographer but would like some opinions on some of my favorite pictures.
*edit* Ok i tried three times and I couldnt get it to work...but this site: My photo page
has some of my favorite pictures on it, the ones i were trying to post were the sunset shot with very white clouds and sunlight coming through with a sorta silhoutted land at the bottom, and the first and second color rose pictures towards the bottom.
Any comments/criticism/advice would be greatly appreciated (including that of how to post my pictures!) Thanks!
the first rose picture I took by candlelight, I was just kinda bored and playing around with my camera.
hopefully this works...(crosses fingers)

the first two are really out of focus, that last one seems technically good. I really like the lighting on the first rose shot but you either have to use the macro settings to take the shot with detail or you need to step back & take it with a different depth of field.
I think they are a really good place to start from so keeping shooting & welcome to DPC!

| My computer messed up and deleted my photo page...so nevermind. (*goes and cries in corner because all hard work is gone*) jk. |
