I just found something interesting. Look at the following image stats -


Image Number - 562295
Place - 104th
ExactScore - 6.2481751
Number of votes - 137


Image Number - 563390
Place - 105th
ExactScore - 6.2481751
Number of votes - 137


Image Number - 564549
Place - 106th
ExactScore - 6.2481751
Number of votes - 137

The weirdest part is they have the exact same number of votes. It would seem that in the case of an absolute tie, the photos are ranked in the order in which they were submitted...

That is a very weird coincidence. It's also a testament to the quality of photography on DPC, that these three beautiful photos didn't place in the top 100.

I think you're right. That happened to me in the Natural Light Portrait. Same exact score (different number of votes), yet mine was ranked higher. The only thing I could see that would make a difference is that mine was entered first.

I still can't figure out how they rank the ribbons and honorable mentions on the left side in the profiles. They are ranked by position (blue, red, yellow, 4th, 5th) but if you have muliples in each ranking, I see no logic to the order.

I saw we all vote everyone a ten on the next challenge, and see how they handle it...400 blue ribbon images in once challenge. OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT! SUBVERSION IS A TACTIC TO PRESERVE THE ARTIFICIAL LIE!
