Was this a pan or stationary tripod shot?

Thank you very much Justine!Its a pan just got ducky as Ellamay would say. I took very many this afternoon and lots were out of focus! I find that the Sigma 70-300 non-usm that I have is very slow to focus so I was lucky on this one, I think it is the best of the lot. There is a beautiful dam in Manotic close to where I live and the lazy ducks (ones that would rather freeze their tail feathers than go south)Congregate there!I have ordered a better lens and hope for even better results in the future.Thanks for the kind words!

I also have the Sigma 70-300, not perfect but it's a good lens.

This picture is a small part of the falls and this is why there are so many mallards here this time of year,open water although all the snow is melting these days,yahoo!!

Took this at the lake yesterday. I think this is the first baby duck of the season and a pretty cute one at that. :)
