What did you end up choosing?

I was debating between the Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 and the 85mm f1.8. I had the Tamron, but returned it the next day for the Canon. I'm worried about running out of room for indoor portraits. I'll have a test shoot tomorrow with a friend's kid (2 years old).

I have the 85 1.8 and love it to death, but indoors it is limiting......bought the 50mm 1.4 and that cleared up any issue.
