The challenge calls for "Take a photograph from the vantage point of being upside down. Your subject should be upside right."
In this photo; which I turned upside down, the subject was upside down too, is this ok?

Is this a joke or another pedantic challenge interpretation thread?
If the latter, you will get creamed for submitting it because most folks won't look at it long enough to figure it out. They will just toss another 1 on the pile when they see the upside down subject. |

You're not supposed to reveal your entry anyways.
And no, the subject specifically excludes upside-down subjects. You'll get creamed. |

You interpret the challenge correctly. Someone posted a picture of a bat in the other discussion thread on this challenge. That's a good image for getting your head around the piss poor wording of the challenge.
I am (or we are) just saying that your clever trickiness, while meeting the challenge, will nontheless result in your shot being beaten to a whimpering, bloody pulp and left lying in the corner... |

It`s simple really, as you take the photo your camera should be upside down but not your subject.
The end result is an upside down photo.
If you took a photo the right way up and rotated it 180* you will get the same result.
