LOL thanks but the cast on my wrist is from an injury from the 9th of July heres a pic that explains that part. basically one of the heads fell on my hand from standing on end while my hand was on the anvil...

As for the other part there is a nice dent in the other guys hood from my cast as I hit it as soon as I saw the numb nut on the phone. He started to get out of the car and I told him it would be in his best interest to get back in the car and leave before I change my mind about calling the police and reminded him there were at least a half dozen witnesses that saw him hit me... my right knee was a little sore but getting a lot better

Number 1 is probably fine. I'm sure we'll get snow in Alberta by the end of September.

Like skating on the canal in Ottawa or an outdoor icehockey game. Sometimes even the beautiful shots of trees with snow on them against a nice blue sky....you get my point. How can it be representing Canada without snow or winter?

Ernie

For skating on the canal you might have to wait until February. Last year I think freeze up was just before Winterlude.

I would love to see skating on the canal in this collection, as well as the Parliament buildings at christmas (w/the lights). Changing of the gaurd (summer would be another one.

Should we try to get the quintessencial icon from each province? do we have enough people for that? ie. Federation bridge, lobster in NS, CN tower, wheat fileds in MN, oil fields in AB, and Rockies in BC? NWT might be an issue though.

Maybe we do the opposite, and concentrate on the lesser known icons of this country.

just some thouhgts

Still I'd like to be in, regardless of the Sabre/Senators playoff outcome ;)

Sorry Deb,

If you can not spell Canadian correctly, then you can not play with us. Its a rule! LOL

MN is Minnesota, MB is Manitoba

... and the Rockies are mostly in Alberta. ;o) The rest of the mountains in BC are not the Rockies.

I knew what I ment, and that's the important part. As for the Rockies I would check your atlas LOL. BC definatly has the important parts. Alberta just ended up with the leftovers........

Don't be too upset though, Alberta still has wheat.

It's Confederation Bridge.

I might be interested if you want a photo from Newfoundland. I am not interested in buying a book or a calendar or posing a woody or ducky in my photo. I suppose I can do the typical Newfoundland shot of a fishing boat or a lighthouse.

That's why I said 'mostly'. I should have said the best part. I was only having a little fun with Jeff. ;o)

In fact, I grew up in the Rockies (on the BC side).
