NO this is not a sappy post about a military man blown up in Falujah, its a simple post. Last week I heard that a Mule gave birth. I also heard that the Roman way to say "when hell freezes over" was to say "when a mule foals." Thats because, if you are the only one outside of the animal husbandry loving world that didn't know, a mule is a generally sterile offspring hybrid of a horse and a donkey.

But, just like the sterility of the Mule and other things that are near certainties, the unthinkable happenned today.

I snapped a ginsu knife clean off at the handle cutting a Carvel birthday cake. We threw away the blade, but here is a photo of the offending handle.

What is next? the sun to fall from the sky? Rogaine won't work? water will flow uphill?

better one's Rogaine than Viagra?

best of luck to ya (I'm more concerned that I actually understood the reference to mules... and know what a Ginny is, too!)

We snapped teh tip off of a Henckel knife once, also while cutting an ice cream cake. They gladly replaced it for us.

I can top that Ross...know what a 'hinney' (not as in a Butt or rump) is and what's the difference between a mule and hinney?

mule = mother horse dad donkey...stronger hooves etc...
hinney = mother a donkey dad a horse...weaker hooves and not seen as much cause what sperm doner wants itshay kicked out of em, typically? little cheese (leroy) spice and of course there are those that will/would say me, me, me!!! laughs...

I guess the ironic thing is that ginsu knives were "invented"
by two college graduates who went to uper markets and bought all the cheapest chinese knives and called them "Ginsu" - and made a stupid commercial. Really a terrific feat of marketing. Oh yeah, and they offered a lifetime guarantee! Try to send on back though! In fact, I am going to look for the website to do just that.
