1. Only enter free studies. No DNMC possible. (And no, this isn't about the "Faceless" fiasco.. I didn't even enter that one.)
2. Never enter something that I like, because it'll get a 4.5 for sure.

You are are the wrong side of the fence!
Lemme help you over the fence to the cool side.
It's very different on this side of the fence. We like a good score, but have an interesting criteria for our entries. It pleases us first. It moves us, often not in the same way as it moves the voters, and, well, that's part of being on the cool side.
Need help over?

I'm a big champion of being on the "cool side"... but sometimes I fall over. I think it's cause I need a bit more feedback outside of DPC. I show my entries to my mom and friends a bit so I should do that more.

Sometimes I just need to get stuff off my chest, and then I'm alright again. |

CAUTION: I DNMC anything that looks like you had to pay for tickets to shoot. :P

That's because of the hallucinogens. Once that wears off you'll realize there was no fence although your photography may suffer afterwards... |
