This thread makes me want to implement the "Ignore user" feature... I can't believe all the negative, self-righteous, "expert" opinions in here in response to a thread intended to share insight into winning ribbons on DPC.

But hey, there's hope for you. If all the talent leaves this site because of your whining and negativism, you *might* actually win a ribbon with your crap images. The ribbon (who's only worth is equal to the fierceness of the competition in which it was won) will be cheapened.

So keep whining! And in the mean time, I guess you'll have to keep blaming trolls, the Hogs, and the DPL for your scores.

I'm disappointed in many of the participants on this thread. Name calling is childish and uncalled for. Whether the OP was arrogant or self-congratulatory, or helpful or inspirational is up to the viewer of the post. He tried to illuminate his process, undoubtedly because he was proud and wanted to share. There is nothing wrong with that sentiment.
