â€Â¦I would like to practice my photo restoration techniques. If you have a photo that you would like to have restored you are welcome to send it to me. Please, I’m bored without my camera. I will do my best to do a good restoration and post the results in my DPC profile under restoration (side-by-side comparison). I will also send you a copy of the restoration at maximum resolution.
I cannot promise a great job but I will do my best. I will work on each photograph in the order received. If you would like to have an old photograph restored please email your photograph to .
In the future I would like to do photo restorations since I am out of work and this would give me a great opportunity to practice.
NOTE: Please scan at 300 dpi if possible for the best results.
Thanks in advance.
Scott W.

Hey scott I have a senior pic of my friend stephanie that I scanned has minor surface damage not the the colored layer of the picture but to the area's on top. The easy part is the black dress top. Theres a spot of the same problem around the hair by the head. It doesn't look bad and seems like someone knows a quick fix.
If you want todo it and would like to get to it like EVER (2 months at the most sounds good). Ive been meaning to post it. I dont have anything really old.
I think the only reason i never posted it is it is of course copyright of the studio who originally took the picture. My intention however was minor restore and preserve... but doesn't matter to a copyright holder.
But you should definitely check out the Katrina stuff they just got more photos in. |

Yes, I signed up when it first was announced in '06. I did several but after a while they stopped sending and I though it was over. I will go back and revisit the thread and see if I can sign-up again. Thanks for the link.
Edit to correct year.
