grey market is overstock items, that a froeign company buys into. the items are then imported back into the states ILLEGALLY, and sold -w/o warranty or any return policy. these are usually bought through shady businesses online, and you dont know its grey market until it breaks or you want to return it...

its been a big issue with CPU processors... if you see a GREAT deal on something ) electronic ) stay away from it..
