A think a Lumaquest pocket bounce would be the best thing.

Take a look at the Photoflex LiteDome Q39. At $45 it is a real soft box and gives really pleasing light without losing as much light as a Stofen cap or any of the Gary Fong units. They aren't nearly big enough as to get complaints from those behind you.

I did think that the $33 dollar shoe mount brackets were ridiculous for a $45 soft box, so I made my own for about $5 worth of materials from my local Lowe's.

How far away will you be? Will there be other photographers? Will they object to you using large modifiers or flash in general? You need to answer those first.
