I don't have the answer, but I have noticed on flickr.com that there is a setting that can be marked to keep folks from downloading your photos. If someone tries to download your photo, the photo turns into a "spaceball". I don't know how the flickr folks do this voo doo they do. Only recently have I had my photos used by others on flickr until I changed who and who could not download my photos. I feel like I have arrived, sorta, when other folks start stealing my snapshots.

It's actually quite easy to code. Unfortunately it hurts the learning experience on a site like this.

To demonstrate or to help someone here, it is often required to "borrow" the photo. That would make it a bit more difficult.

It can be defeated by a determined crook. All one needs to do is hit the print screen button, paste into a photo editor crop and save.

What Flickr does is place a transparent image on the page overtop of the image. Your actually right clicking on the transparent image. A screen shot.... or going to the media tab in firefox or even looking at the source still give sup the image.

Many people will put a giant (mostly transparent) copyright symbol, or sometimes their logo in an inconvenient spot on the online image.

Of course that wouldn't work here, but it does work for people who are just showing the prints to a client.

OT, but it's nice to see someone my exact age w/ the exact same camera, lol! I'll need to keep an eye out for your photos. Love the Cow's Eye View. I used similar framing here (although you could say it was from the other side, lol)
