How did you and your friend like it? I got mine on the 20th of December and have loved it. It is by far the nicest camera I have owned so far.

By the way, Nice view! The yacht isn't the office you mention right? ;-)

I've got my eye on this baby! I heard rumors that it might have a tendency toward graininess, but the shots above were crystal clear. Any real reviews about this camera out there yet? Here's one:

I reorganized my photo site to separate the pictures from my older camera from those with the F828. They can be viewed at the link below.

I think im gonna hold on to my f717 for a while. It does everything I need it to and more. In my opinion, the only real advantages of the 828, are the compact flash support (if you already have memory sticks its not a problem), 8 mp (although for my use, 5 is plenty), and a better action shooting mode (actual 2.5 frames[or whatever it is] per second.)In my eyes it doesnt seem to pay if the camera is not going to be usable past ISO 200 due to noise levels. Also, the CA, doesnt seem too bad, but for the price you need to pay for that camera, It just isnt worth it. This is only my opinion.

Thanks! I keep reorganizing and that breaks the links, but I like the layout now.

I have to say that I am really enjoying the new Sony. I liked my other camera, but it doesn't hold a candle to what I have now. Since I am not familiar with other brands and types I am not able to comment or compare, but I really like mine.

I am going to post some examples later tonight or tomorrow that show examples using the various ISO settings since there seems to be a lot of discussion about that.

Again, thanks for the compliments.

I imagine the Sony DSC-F940 will have these issues addressed and be a joy to use. ;-)
