The color one is definitely ok. The B&W ehh, it just lacks any real punch.

Definitely better. Foe some reason Black and White just needs that extra contrast. |

| Think you could benefit of the shadow/highlights function in PS for the b/w one, that way you'll have room to improve your contrast with levels/curves later on. |
