Is there any application out there cheaper then PSCS3 that support RAW files and all the plugins ?
Is there anything that even comes close to Photoshop ? |

| Not exactly the same, but a related question. What is the 'extended CS3' ? I thought CS3 already had HDR and RAW, so why buy the extended version unless you want some 3D stuff ? |

Lightroom rocks, no doubt. I love it. BUT, not a contender for totally replacing Photoshop.

The difference between CS3 and CS3 extended is some scientific and video stuff (like MATLAB support).
So if you use photoshop just for photography, you won't gain anything from the extended version. |

| Why not use an earlier version of PS? Use something else to convert from RAW. |
