My internet connection is really slow, <33.6
Is there anyway to vote on the pictures without having to download the larger view of the pic? Like when you're done voting and you get the thumbnailed screen where you can change votes, add comments, stuff like that. Is there a way to go directly to that screen? It would be a huge help.
Thanks Dave |

You can only vote on a photo based on the thumbnail AFTER you have previously voted. It would be unfair to allow votes based on the thumbnails because many photos are dependent on details that would not be visible in a thumbnail, and many others have problems that are not apparent in thumbnail.

I sympathize with the slow speed connection, but too many times the thumbnail just doesn't show the whole story. Either the photo has fine details that might push it to a higher rating, or some defect that isn't obvious until one takes a closer look. I think it only fair that the photos be judged solely on the full size image. Of course, that's just my opinion. |

I agree with you guys... but its just not possible for me to vote on the pictures with the current system. The last few weeks I've been going to an internet cafe to make my votes, kinda expensive. I figure if I could see the thumbnails, and click on the ones I need/want to see more detail on I could deal with that, and it might work ok. Then at least I'd only be waiting 2-3 minutes for a pic to load a few times, instead of 2-3 minutes x 100+ pictures!
Thanks for the input... |

I have a slow connection, too. I just open a bunch of browsers and let them load while i do other things.
You can open the pics in a new browswer by holding down the "shift" key and then clicking on the thumbnail.
