Critique needed on first Model/AlienBee shoot.

Big worklights are nice , but one AB400 is really nice.Andi is trying to get into modeling and asked if I could work with her.I had just taken delivery of an AB400 with a brolley box and jumped at the chance to use it.I would really appreciate comments in that I wouldn't want to cost her potential work.

The images are all of good quality and the model should be very pleased. The following comments are just my opinion and are hopefully constructive.

I like the 1st and 5th images quite a bit.

I think the 2nd and 3rd could have used a little fill. Fashion style images tend to feature heavier shadows, but I think the falloff her is too abrupt.

The pose in the 4th doesn't strike me as a great one for the model. I would say there is almost a look of surprise, so the image becomes more about that than the subject.

Good points. I was having trouble picking out what would make these better.She made me promise that we would shhot again, i'll keep this in mind in the future.

Nice, very nice... great model good job with the lighting. Love the expressions in 2, 3 and 5.

Now remember I am no where near an expert at this as I don't have any studio lights, but pupils in all shots seem quite large...Is this because it is dark just before you hit her with the strobes? How would one avoid this. They seem to jump out in the close up shots.
