i'm editing my original post as now i am going to change the color of my site. thanks all for your input. its crazy how differnt monitors can show totaly different colors.

Looks like brown with rust tint here.

Same here. Light brown with some grey/rust tint.
Is the gamma correctly adjusted on your home screen?

Similar - taupe with a very little tinge of mauve

I see a pale olive green :(
Not very cheerfull looking considering the opening line and photo.
Looks like it should open with an M-16 :)LOL

very nice but I would susggest a better color.

Also on my laptop it's grey/rust. Not greenish at all. But also not very burgundy.

Yes, I see a brownish color.

BTW... that before | After thing is confusing. I was expecting to see some sort of before or after editing or some other change to the image rather than the previous or next image.

I think an M-16 is a type of gun, and Calvus was saying that the colour is a bit gloomy so a photo of a gun would be more appropriate than the one you used...

...of course I may be talking utter nonsense so ignore me :P

I was refering to the green US Army colors, M-16 being a weapon of choice for some military personel :)

According to photoshop it's RGB value is 101/84/68 or Hex #655444. Looks to be inbetween orange and black (brown).

Looks like sort of Coffee colour to me...
