I have no studio, just the outside world and my Olympus E-500, I work with a lady who wants to pay me to take photos of her son so she can spread them around to get him into modeling, he is about 12 or 13 by what she said, just was wondering if anyone had any ideas or photos they have done that i could look at for some ideas. Please and thank you. you can see my current work at the following link, the password is " enter " and if the link dosnt work its supposta go to www.photobucket.com and myusername is jimbo_for_life //www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vczEyMi5waG90b2J1Y2tldC5jb20vYWxidW1zL28yNjgvamltYm9fZm9yX2xpZmUv

Fixed Link

Judging from some of your photos there you should do fine. Just remember to start early. Afternoon sunlight can kill a shot. Some of my best portraits were done between 8am and 9am

Might want to make a couple reflectors with some aluminum foil and cardboard, or buy the ones that you put on your car windshield to keep the sun out. Paint one of them gold, leave one silver. Alternate those under his face and straight natural light. For headshots he can hold it, but an assistant would be good. Look at clothes ads, modelmayhem.com, the fashion/portraiture pools on flickr, etc for ideas. If it's the first time you've shot that stuff, they probably don't expect perfection or artistic genius, but do some fun shots plus the stuff that would probably go in a model portfolio.

BTW, that link needed me to log in, so I couldn't see it.
