Hi Guys and gals I've recently bought some wireless triggers for my flashes. I'm trying to get my flashes off camera for doing some portrait work. I have a couple of stands and a shoot through and a a bounce umbrella, but they are for a hotlight setup that I have. I think I can use the stands to mount my flashes, but I need a way to mount the umbrellas to it. Anyone have a nice easily obtainable setup to mount your flashes and umbrellas to some stands? I've looked and found some cheapies from 20 dollars to some that cost several hundred dollars. I'm looking to mount a 550EX and a 580EX off camera to these along with my wireless triggers and umbrellas. Thanks for any input you can give and also links to suppliers.

Thats one of the many that I have found, the reviews I have found on that is mixed. Its mostly plastic and may not hold up to alot of use(not that I'm going to use it alot). I was hoping someone might be able to help me out with one that they have. Thanks for the input.

Damn, thanks man. I've got 3 of these and needed one more. The price I've been paying for these is about 5 bucks more from MidWest. For the OP, these brackets seem to be very strong. Unless you're using them on railings at a sports arena and worry about them breaking and spurring a lawsuit, I suspect it's the bestest/cheapest solution you can find.
I've slammed the hell out of one of mine on a shelf clamp and I can't find any damage. These are made mostly of resin, not plastic on the important part.

Thanks its good to know someone has used them before. I went ahead and placed an order for a couple of them and also bought a couple different size umbrellas to add to mine. Hopefully they will work, I'm just concerned that with the weight of the wireless reciever and the 550/580 hanging off of them. Thanks for the input, anyone else have a setup that they use, I'm not opposed to buying a couple to find what works best for me .

Works well for me. I have it mounted on an old microphone stand.
