Today my CS2 and Adobe Bridge just stopped opening on my Macbook Pro!! Does anyone know what's going on? It worked fine yesterday and nothing has happened since then that would make it stop working.

I'll love you forever if you know what's going on :)

Can I assume you've restarted you Macbook Pro and not just put it to sleep and woke it up? I go for days without rebooting my macbook. I forget sometimes.

Any error messages?

Run the Activity Monitor (in Applications/Utilities) and see if it appears in the list when you try to start it.

Any problems launching any other apps?

Obvioulsy more info would be helpful

And you don't HAVE to love me for me to offer help! ;-)

Haha...ok.

Well anyways, I've restarted, there aren't any problems with other applications, just those two Adobe ones. It's so confusing

Do you get an error message or what? A few things to try:

Hold down Command+Option+Shift when you launch PS & Bridge to rebuild the preference files.

Repair permissions on your hard drive using disk utility

Download and install Apple's OS 10.4.10 combo updater (even if you're already running that version)

Remove and then reinstall the Adobe apps.

None of this worked? These things almost always work to get a mucked up program going again.
I would add deleting the Preference file in your Hard DIsk/Library/Preferences/(all adobe stuff) area and then removing and reinstalling the program.

Have you tried what he suggested? Only the "repair permissions" is at all dodgy; the rest is easy to try. Many times I have solved problems like this with a simple uninstall/install routine. Sometimes the drivers, the dll's, whatever, just get corrupted.

Yeah. Nothing's really working, and I don't want to mess it up anymore so I'll leave it to the paid pro's

I didn't know Apple supported Adobe software (ie: it's installing, uninstalling, or problems with it). But, if they fix it for ya...good enough.
