- It's raining so hard out that the first thing you do after you get into the office is go the washroom, take off your pants, and wring them out in the sink.
- The second thing you do is spill your coffee all over your desk.

- when you are woken up at 2am, having fallen asleep viewing the nightmare challenge, by a mouse scuttling across your face. The cat is definitely in the dog house! |

I've done both, but I'm not sure which is worse.

LOL ditto, I did have a cat and a German Sheppard and they were both bad for that. Still got the Dog but the cat had to be put down last year...

the hotwater tank quit working in the middle of the night on the coldest day of the year and you have to take an icy shower before you go to work. |

How about you get up at 5am to pee and go back to bed, but every morning for about 6 months, your can has done diarrhoea in the shower. So you have to clean it up before you can go back to bed, otherwise the kids will find it when they get up before you.
Turns out the cat had a thyroid problem - all fixed now, and he only occasionally poops in our shower now. I guess there's definitely worse places to poop. We're actually pretty happy he did it in the shower.

Last night I fell asleep at at 11:30, I then proceeded to wake up every hour on the hour until 4:00am, where my cat who was sleeping on my bed, decided that my foot needs to be bit, I then pick him up and take him out of my room. Not to mention the wicked acid reflux from the buffalo chicken cheesesteak I ate at 10:00, washing it down with Grape gatorade. I really just want to go to bed right now. |

Bay Area people were rolled out of bed at 4:42 this morning by a 4.2 earthquake which shook things up pretty good, though it did little damage.
Looks like a good day to play the numbers 4 and 2 in the lottery though ... |

That gives me heartburn just thinking about it. |

You started wearing pants to work? Since when?

Pffft. When I lived there, it would take a 6+ to get me to grab my beer to keep it from spilling. :) |

This almost matches my night, except I worked until 1:30 am, went to bed at 2:30 am, and had the cat attacking my feet all night waking me up hourly until I gave in and got out of bed at 8:00 am. I work 12 hour shifts - but today the boss asked me to come in early and work an extra hour.

It's only "naked Tuesdays" here, though I was barefoot all day yesterday.
I remember the days of stepping in cat puke. Old & very friendly cat, gone now. Two new, useless cats now rome our house, always just out of reach.
