well it's easy to have less viruses and more stability when you don't have that many applications/games for it:P
granted that you have all the basic stuff you need.
for example by comparing windows and linux, linux is extremely stable, BUT BUT, how many application do you know are written for it, and how many people use it? not many hence the margin for error is smaller,and people that write the viruses tend to like breaking into window application because it affects wayyyyyyyy more people, hence the security in unix based systems.
now i barely used a mac, so i can't really get into a detailed debate about it. |

haha! it scares me when the voice tells me the virus update has been done when im listening to music |
