I just returned from my annual trek to the deep woods of northern Wisconsin for my yearly astronomy trip. I'll post some astro shots later but here are a few wildlife shots from the trip:






We stay with a guy who lives deep in the forest, in one of the most isolated locations imaginable, miles from any population center and absolutely one of the darkest places at night I've ever seen. He has panormic windows lining the back of his house. Most of these shots were taken through the windows with the animals just a few feet away.
