| I have had my d50 for about 4 months now and have have probally taken around 2,000 pictures with it. There is a light that comes on in low light to help with the auto focus while mine won't come on in except in auto mode. I cannot figure it out if I accidently changed a setting or its the camera was wondering if anyone else had this problem... |

| thanks but that wasn't it I noticed it does come on now but I have to have the focus in the middle.. |

After my D70 got to about 1 1/2 years old, the focus light started not working sometimes. Turning the camera off, then on again seems to fix it for awhile, then it will happen again. Not a big enough deal to spend the money to get it fixed, especially since the D70 is such an old beast now, but annoying.
Since your camera is still under warranty, you might want to get it checked out. |
