I've sold a few things to recover some of the funds so we could replace our car. I'm now only using my 70-200 and 50 1.8 which is fine for most of my situations. but i really miss that wider angle when i'm walking around.
anyone have an opinion on the canon 20-35 3.5-4.5 USM? It seems decent enough and the price is about right. It may or may not find its way into actual work photography, but it's primary purpose is for me to have something to walk around with.
Thanks for now... |

| Never owned it but was thinking of buying it. Fredmiranda owner reviews sort of turned me off to this lense. Setting aside the usual "it's not an L" complaints, it didn't get the best reviews. |

| it's really worth the extra money to get a nice quality lens. You can get a 15-30mm or a 17-35mm or 17-50mm from various makers for $350-500 and they're great compaired to cheap glass. Check out some reviews on tamron's and sigma. I own the 17-35mm tamron and it's a great lens for a crop sensor for under $400 NEW with a 5 year warrenty. They've replaced that lense, but check out some competitors before buying a pretty darn old canon lens. |
