Ever since I upgraded to ver1.1 I am unable to view a slideshow - not through the slideshow module (preview or play) or the impromptu slideshow (ctrl+enter). I had no trouble with 1.0. All I get now is a black screen with "Slide x of x" showing in the little window. It indicates that the slideshow is playing and the pics advance, but no image shows. If I step through it with either the arrow key or mouse the images show. Any idea as to what is going on here?

I'm using XPPro with 1gig ram.

No clue Bill. Just ran a slideshow from Lightroom for the clients. All went fine.

I'm using XP Media Center and had no problem with the slideshow.

The only thing that's not working is being able to add text on the fly. Maybe that's not an option. (That was a blonde moment thinking that you could actually do that) LOL

OK one problem solved another created. LR 1.1 slideshow runs fine after updating my display driver. However, Adobe's "help" had me create a new user account(admin) on my Windows XPpro system for troubleshooting. Now I am not able to see my original user account ((I am the single user (Administrator) and log on with a password)). Mow when I fire up the computer I automatically log on to the "dummy" account. Then I have to log off, press twice and manually enter my logon info. This gets me into my original user account, but I have not been able to remove the other account, which forces me to go through that "song-and-dance" every time I boot up.

Any system user experts out there?
