Well I know that this is some sort of Skipper butterfly but not exactly sure what subspecies.

Your in Malaysia right?
Not sure they migrate that far for me to take a guess. However maybe they are world wide. Just taking a stab I think that's a moth but then I'm guessing. Good luck!

Hi, you're right I'm from Malaysia.

I don't think it is a moth - for me, butterflies close up their wings at rest and another forumer pointed out that butterflies have bulbs on their antennas (moths have furry/fuzzy/hairy ones). Also she pointed out that it is indeed a Skipper - so I Googled for skipper butterflies and found a whole bunch but am just not sure which exact subspecies this one is.

Why do I want to be so specific? - Just so that I can put proper photo titles in my gallery, lol!

BTW So far I seem to be very close to ID-ing it as an Ocola Skipper... but all the pictures that I Googled are quite small and I'm not a butterfly expert so I'm not sure.....
