After packing up my belongings (including my beloved computer) on May 30th, the container finally arrived here in Finland today!
Since I finally said goodbye to my Second City (Chicago) on May 31st, I have been living out of a suitcase, sleeping on an aero bed and managing to survive with only the basic essentials. Today I feel like I am returning to the land of the living! I have all my stuff (albeit mostly in boxes), including all my camera accessories (tripod etc). For the first time in 6 weeks, I get to sleep in my own bed! YIPPEE!!!!
Added to that, my internet connection is finally operational so I no longer have to try and look at DPC on my mobile phone!
Got to say, I don't think I'll be doing a move like this again in a hurry!
ETA: I did manage to vote on one challenge when I was in the office last week, but it's more fun doing it at home.
Now, maybe I can spend the evening voting on challenges (I have withdrawal symptoms!) Seems infinitely more appealing than unpacking yet more boxes....
