I like it, but would really like some feedback, its definitely a step out of my comfort zone

Going for something like This?
IMO, remove the nostrils or include the eyes, or just use a higher eyepoint to minimize them. Some hand (well manicured to match) or tounge/teeth usually seems to set these off. |

I had this idea a while ago.
At one point, browsing thrue Flickr, I kept seeing these foodlips. And I see them now again and again.
Now it's a no-go. Not original anymore, for me at least. |
