Hi all!
I wanted to ask to see if some of you would check out my work and tell me if my shots are good enough to sell and to whom and how?
I've heard all the talk about Alamy and other sites, but I dont want to get in a situation where I cannot sell them individually myself if I ever wanted to sell to locals.
Im trying to first pay off my equipment and if Im sucessfull enough, I would like to make some dow. :)
Any input is really appreciated.
Here is my portfolio. Any suggestions are always welcome.
BTW I shoot with a 8 MP Canon DSLR XT in RAW format.

I think you have some great shots in there, but a lot of them look a little soft. They are in focus, but I'm not sure if they are quite sharp enough for stock sites. You could probably fix most with some quick PP. Hang around here and you will become a pro in no time.

Thank you. I do have photoshop installed on my pc, I was using it just to dodge and burn and do some other old style film photography tricks that I remember. I did learn the other day how to sharpen my photos, I will be trying those techniques soon. Thanks for the input.:)

There are some very good shots in your portfolio. You're definately on the right track. I agree with the sharpness comment above, but you do have the basics of composition and lighting and those are working your favor.
If you're thinking of stock sites, you'll need to worry about getting signed model releases before you can submit recognizable people. Search the previous threads for "model release" and you should see some that discuss this issue.
Good luck. And enter some challenges.... |

Thanks. :)
I'm starting to realize that in digital photography editing is half the job. So I better get my butt in gear and start learning good editing techniques. :)
I will also check out the model release info. Thanks alot :)
