A little while ago I asked the good people of DPC for help regarding PP of a picture of my daughter karting
The request
I had a number of people offer to assist and now that some images from the same shoot have ended their time in challenges I can reveal the following
This was the original 
and this is the magic that was worked on them by
 bdenny 
strangeghost 
 daboardergirl
All as you can see are much much better than the original (I have had to resize them to ensure I did not use too much space on my portfolio so any loss of quality is down to me)
Everyone of the reworked versions added something to my shot and it was great to see how three different people could look at the same image and translate it
After much contemplation I had the picture by daboardergirl
printed up and it now sits in a frame above my phone in the hall as I enter the house
I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all three DPCers for their time and considerable skills. Just to let you all know that for every troll or for every person who posts a supercilious 'DNMC' comment on a picture there are some truely wonderful people on this site who more than counterbalance them |

That's so nice to have such a great picture of your daughter.
It will make it even more special to know you had friends help with it. |

this is one of the things I love the most about DPC, the willingness of others to help and the sincere gratitude of the helpee.
Very nice edits by everyone...where does daboardergirl go to get her free year membership for winning? lol j/k :D |
