I've been keeping all my unedited and edited photos. The unedited I've been saving in raw and TIFF (I know I really don't need both, but it's a good way to ensure I have a back up CD if one stops working, instead of just saving to CD's of the same raw files).

So my question is do you keep ALL your unedited raw files...even the ones youdon't really plan on editing anytime soon?

When I view my RAW files the first time I toss the ones that are seriously flawed, or are essentially duplicates of other, better exposures. Everything else I keep forever, or at least so far.

Same here. I toss the obviously useless ones, and weed out any fairly close copies. Everything else goes onto an external HD, and gets mirrored to DVD. Although I'm quickly exhausting my 100GB, especially now that I've made the switch from JPEG to RAW. I'll be getting a 500GB HD soon, but I'm still thinking of going back through my files annually and clearing out stuff that on second-examination is really junk.

That actually sounds like a good idea...the annual check. I'm exhausting my 100GB hard drive too, but i constantly put things on DVD and delete em off the hard drive.
