Pick 7 from below.
Babies are too easy to shoot for this challenge, so NO babies.
Idea needs to be in the Expert rule set to pull off, hence the idea.

I thought that even though most editing is legal with expert you still have to personally take the pics that you include in the final product. |

So therefore, unless I am willing to travel to New York I am unable to enter this challenge. |

If you feel that your idea needs to be in New York then prolly not going to happen.
But, my description does say "in your neighborhood". Your profile says E. Tennessee, I did not know that E. Tennessee was so close to New York.
So, oh well, your E. Tennessee image of a moonshine factory in the back hills prolly isn't going to happen either.

The New 7 World Wonders.
On July 7, 2007, 7 new architectural world wonders will be determined. Since most of the original world wonders do not exist anymore - except for the Great Pyramids of Gizeh - a campaign was initiated in 1999 to determine new world wonders.
You can go to new7wonders and register to vote. It costs nothing. There are 21 architectural structures to choose from. All of them have some history and explanation along with them.
This is history in the making and you can be part of it!! This is what I voted:
Acropolis, Easter Island Statues, Great Wall, Machu Picchu, Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge, and Sydney Opera House.
Go vote and post your choices here! Only two days left before the final results. |

Okay dude. You've officially lost me. You say it needs to be expert editing so we can pull it off but now we can just take shots in our neighborhood?
Why does it need to be expert editing? |

Most of the world's wonders (the original 7 at least) were technological marvels at the time. To exclude 'technology' seems to be a poor choice.
Somewhere in this suggestion there's a fine idea waiting to be discovered. |

There are seven natural world wonders. Ayers Rock is not one of them. However, the Grand Canyon is - just up the road from me! :o) |

No...
Not every country has a wonder of the world or not many people are so lucky to live near one |
