ok its too late for me to change it now, but I took some graduation photos yesterday and one of my lights got messed up and broken and so I couldn't use it.
The result: the photos have shadows in and the colours are weird looking (some of which is due to the peachy pink background).
what can I do (short or turning the photos black and white) to fix any of them post-processing-wise, like with photoshop?
I am including a link to an originally coloured one (the couple), the black & white one with shadow issues, and a somewhat colour altered one ... which I don't know if it looks allright or not.
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

just bumping this up.
Can anyone help me ? most especially need help with the colour issue (tried colour correctors and can't get it directed towards something nice)

You can individually adjust each individual color, for Highlights/Midtones/Shadows, or first try changing the Color Balance.

In PhotoShop:
Image-->Adjustments-->
Then: Selective Color, Select Red/Yellow, for each, slide the magenta slider to -70.
OR
Image-->Adjustments-->Auto Color or Color Balance

You can also select the background and adjust only that, using the "Magic wand" on the Background with a tolerance of 10.
Experiment, with variations, until you get the color you want.
What color was the dress supposed to be?

the background is full of texture and I can't get just it selected without selecting the mother's top or various bits of people's skin.
Its mostly the skin tone I am concerned with.
The dress is chocolate brown and the background is light peachy-pink
