Yeah happy Canada Day.... I just had three Canadians (Pedro, Shecoya and Kosmikreeper) sing the Canadian national anthem to me..... sounded a little wonky after a couple of crates of beer :)

You must have misheard. Canadians can sing just fine after a couple crates of beer. :)

OMG, I had sooooooo much fun today, Canada Day-related, but I can't tell you where, cuz it's gone into "Weekend"! :D

Happy Canada Day!
I had a great one, thats for sure.
I saw the fireworks and went to a concert where I say David Wilcox, Matt Mays, and Bedouin Soundclash. (same location for concert and perfect firework watching to!)
It was also sort of a celebration for the 175th Anniversary of the Rideau Canal which just became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

HAPPY CANADA DAY (Monday holiday) :-D

Burlington had a whopping 12 minute fireworks display. Hey, we're spending all of our money putting in a decorative pier and lighthouse, a tourist centre, and flower gardens down the centre of Brant Street. I am actually happy about the frills, but I still get to make fun of them.

We live downtown, so we just walked around to the beach for our view. I think about a quarter million people crowd into the tiny downtown, the entire population of Butlington, plus a good chunk of our red-neck neighbors from Hamilton, who prefer to spend their money on drugs and stolen car parts rather than fireworks.

You were doing the same thing I was last night... Instead of watching and enjoying the fireworks you were madly snapping pictures. I was referred to last night as "Worse then an Asian with a Nikon"... I wasn't sure what to think of that.

Best place to be on Canada day ;)
this is severely shrunk -- the image is 40megapixel ...
poor alignment on the bottom though ... get that with alot of movement

Did you see the fireworks last night???? they were the best I've seen in years and years. I wish i would have brought my camera
