| hey, i was extremely interested in a 300mm f/4 non is lens for sale around my area, and was wondering if anyone could give me the lowdown, on how it performs and give me side/by/side comparisons with others such as the sigma 300mm f/4, but it seems that it has very high recomendations, but not to many to back it. i thought you guys could help, any other sujustions for a use supertele under $800 and not over 400mm? used or new. try to keep it either prime or a zoom with a single fstop, such as f4 or 2.8. thanxs and hope to hear back soon |

| Check out photozone reviews. Although they don't do side by side comparisons, they throughly review many lenses including two Canon 300mm f4 versions. |
