A guy contacted me that wants to use one of my images for a business presentation design and wants a quote on the price. The image will be going out on 200 pamphlets and 200 cd covers from what I understand. He doesn't want the full rights to the image, just a limited rights deal.....or something.

I'm not a stock shooter and I have no idea what to charge for this.

Any ideas?

I sold the top 2/3 of this for use in a company's brochure for $100.00
Was a hundred bucks more than I had.

i'd charge 50 cents for each brochure and 75 cents for each cd cover.

Without see the photo and not knowing if it's a once in a lifetime shot it's hard to say. If it's reproducable then it's worth less. Sounds like you have some good advise. For something that is really not retail and is limited in distribution a hundred bucks might just be the right number. I kinda look at $100 for basically anything as the floor. If I showup to do a shot it's at least a hundred just to shake hands. When the shuuter starts to work then the price goes up. For plain stock, I think Brad is just about on the mark. Good Luck.
