Ok well awhile ago me and my friends did a car overhaul for my friends dad. I made a DVD with a crapload of pictures with music and what not that contains the whole "overhaul". Well the guy whos car it was, he wants to share this video with his friends. Even compressed at the lowest quality its 70mb's which is too big for youtube or w/e. I just want to host the file, not streaming, just the file. Anyone here know where i can find a site that will host 100mb+ files, or someone that has some extra space on a website. It wouldn't need to be up very long i dont think. Any ideas?

Ill host it for you if you know how to use an ftp server.
Ill provide you with a login and password setup to a directory.

Have a look at www.gigasize.com.
Never used it so can't comment on the actual service.

2 methods to upload, 1 using mycomputer on 2000/xp or any windows OS with web folders installed. Or the usual method using an ftp client.

| I am quite happy with my hosting provider 1and1.com. I pay $4.99 a month and get 120 GB of server space with 1,200 GB monthly transfer volume. They have a smaller package for $3.99 a month as well. |

Im hosting with 1and1 also have the developer package currently discounted at 14.99 a month. i forget the specs last i checked 300 GB and 3 TB of transfer per month, 600 subdomains, 4,000 2GB email accounts, php/perl mysql yada yada.
I host about 7 total full sites 1 for a dpc member. I also host some misc stuff on the general access domain like im doing for kawana. |

Yeah, I only have 1,200 email accounts available to me... Seeing as how I am only using two of them I should be fine for a while.
Are you happy with your package? Are you running Linux or Microsoft? How did you get a discounted rate? The new company I will start working with later this week is looking for a new hosting company and I would love to refer them to 1and1. |

Not sure if it is still up but it was a promotion because they just opened an AMD based building in oklahoma. It has 5 Diesel Backup generators lol. |

Awsome, works like a charm. If anyones interested the file i uploaded can be found at //skylark.notlong.com (took link from site and used redirector to make it simpler)
its like 90mb's though so be warned :D |
