I think they came out nice. How did the couple like them? Were you the official photographer?

I wish I had the 'nads to venture out!

They have seen what I have posted on my website and like them. They will be back from the Bahamas this week and will we sit down and go thru the full res files. I was the official photog. She is a good friend of mine and asked me to shoot this for her. I did tell her that I had no experience with this and they both agreed for me to shoot anyway. I have about 400 images for them to look at. I think Mike has about the same.

I'd desat the red channel a bit on most of them, but overall, I think you did well.

She is a tanning bed nut and I think she was a little more colored then she wanted to be for these shots. I am going to make sure she wants me to tone them down a bit before I really start messing with them too much.

I tone down almost every portrait that comes out of my camera. Not a lot, but just a bit. The reds in most digital cameras tend to be a bit over-zealous. I generally go for about -15 to -20 on the red channel.

JamesKW, Thanks for calling me out.

Here's my wedding collection.

I had a great time shooting this, especially with my buddy, Jim.
