Can anyone tell me if the "Clarify" adjustment filter is considered a legal filter for open challenges? It is under the Contrast adjustment menu in Paint Shop Pro 8, is applied to the image as a whole.
It has a very interesting combination effect in sharpening, lightening and contrast that I am having trouble achieving through stacking filters in Photoshop CS.
Thanks in advance,
Rich.

Yes, it is legal if applied to the entire image. The same effect can be achieved with brightness/contrast and sharpen, but this tool seems to balances the effect better on some of my images. |
