I went out shooting for the current open challenges but came up empty (6 hours, too!)

I did get a few shots that I like, though they aren't my best work by far. The first is of Edmonton City Center shot from the High Level Bridge. (Wind was blowing hard way up there, this was one of the few that didn't show camera shake).

I went down the hiking/biking trails in the river valley, then through some thick brush onto the riverside and this building caught my attention. I don't know why.

And then, at the Legislature grounds they were having an Indian heritage celebration. Not sure what this has to do with Indians but this was there, too. Now, I know it's technically a bad picture. The soldier on the outside was in bright sunlight and the one inside could barely be seen with a naked eye. I'm not sure if they minded I was taking pictures of them but I didn't want to push my luck by flashing them in the eyes, so the guy on the outside is way overexposed and motion blurred. Not sure why, but I still like this picture alot despite it's heavy flaws.

Sorry for the ranting on about what happened but my wife doesn't care and I have to say it to someone. =]
