Does anyone know of a program that can tell me how many pictures have been taken with my camera?
I read somewhere that there is such a thing for nikon cameras, does anyone know the link?
Thanks

The Nikon one is here but last I looked, there wasn't one for Canon.

Depending on how you've set your numbering you may be able to find it in the EXIF -- IrfanView shows an "Image Number" near the end of the list, which consists of the current image number (4 digits) plus a three-digit prefix which should tell you how many times the image counter has "rolled over" at 9999. The prefix starts at 100, so an image number of 1025347 would mean 25,347 pictures.

This won't work if your cards have been used in another camera without reformatting -- the Canon will read the folder info from the other camera and reset (increment) the prefix number ... : (

Thanks a lot for the answers.
Someone told me that I can go to canon labs and they have a way to tell me exactly how many pics the camera took.
