Thought this was a cute shot!
Poor little puppy was worn out after visiting friends and relatives :)
But she helped all the kids ring in the new year.
P.S. By the way the smoke is fake!

All she is saying is:
"Will you please get this guy and the camera out of my face!"
LOL

Hehe cute pics :)
Are you looking for critiques on the posters? If so, I really would advise not using Comic Sans MS as a font for posters :) The first one was a great font choice.

Ben
Yes any comments are welcome :)
I used the Comic font with all intentions of changing it out but I got busy a forgot. I just wanted to get the thought down. I was working on some others at the same time.
The problem I have is in photoshop I have about 1000 fonts and do not know what most look like when I go to choose one.
I need to create a list of useable fonts for each situation. A font program that lets me few them and clean up the folder would help I guess.

Might be worth giving this a go..
Add your text as normal.
Click the tick so you've confirmed the text, but still have the text layer selected.
Now click on the font in the toolbar. Use the up/down arrows to scroll through your fonts. The text should change font as you scroll through, allowing you to preview the text.

If you're using Windows, I think you can just use the Fonts control panel to deactivate many of those fonts.
Also, I think these will be more effective if you concentrate (on) the titles and skip the subtitles ... the type has to get too small and people have to concentrate too much to read it. This draws their attention away from the photo itself. With the title larger, you make it possible for the person to absorb the photo and title together in a single view. |

Paul
I did not know it would do that.
LOL
I have been highlighting the text and selecting various fonts to see what they looked like.
You tip sure is quicker and easier.
Thanks so much

GeneralE
Thanks, I also need one that will show the font and a short sample in the same window without having to double click it.
I agree with what you are saying if the poster was on a more serious side.
But what I was after was the humorous/cute posters and or postcards you see in the stores that had the main title and then a short line under it.
I print them out on 4x6 photo paper and pass them around. Also some friends use them on their desktops as wallpapers.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions :)

This is the first one I was working on and I had trouble with the natural light and flash. But I think I got it balanced out.
When our older Pomeranian see me get the camera he gets all excited.
He knows what is up.
He then runs for the back door or to the front door when I put my coat on or grab my keys. He knows what is up.
Animals are so much fun to photograph (most of the time).
