OK. I know what you are thinking. There are tons of these threads out there. This post could surely be put in one of those, but then it wouldn't get the attention that it deserved. I only wish I could have found this article BEFORE the submission period had ended. The article, Positive and Negative Space - Understanding the Tip of the Iceberg, really gives a good explanation about what EXACTLY is negative space. This research was sparked by what I initially took as a very negative, insulting comment on my entry. After my brief research, I realized that the comment was partially accurate. I obviously can't give more details that what has already been given until the voting is over, but the important thing is the linked article. It is great, and would really benefit any photogher, I believe.
