I am having trouble here... I am loading new brushes into the correct place, but they aren't showing up on the drop down menu when I hit the little triangle, when I want to change to the new ones I just loaded..

But, if I click on "replace brushes" then the load menu pops back up, I pick the brushes again & basically say load again and it switches to them in the brush pallette... But still, they aren't showing up on the drop down menu.. I've loaded one brush set that is appearing in that drop down menu but the 5 sets I've downloaded & loaded after that first one are not appearing.. I should also say that the first one I downloaded is coming from the photoshopuser site.. The other's are from a free site.. (not sure if that makes a difference)

So, my question is.. What did I do wrong, if anything.. Will that drop down menu expand as I load them or does it hit a certain number & just not show other brush options and I will basically have to use the replace brush option from here on out.. It's not any more work, but if there's a way to see them on that initial menu, then I'd prefer it..

Thanks so much !!

I just put the brushes on the desktop, resize the ps window so I can see them, and drag/drop them to the brushes palette. I've never experienced th problem you're speaking of.

If you click on the "load brushes" option a bit farther up in the menu, it will open a new box and list all your available brushes.

They should show up when you restart PS. They won't automatically show up with PS still open.
