Howdy all,
Got a question for you that I hope some of you can answer. My main landscape lens is 17-85 67mm. I just recently got my Canon 70-200 2.8. I'm going to be going on vacation soon and was considering getting a couple more filters. One in particular was a graduated sunrise/sunset filter. Is there any problem with getting the 77mm variety and using a 67-77 step up adapter? I'm worried a bit about the wider angle and vignetting? (sp?) Should I avoid any step up adapter with the wide angle?
Thanks

Shouldn't be any problems using a bigger filter on a small diameter lens. You'll run into problems if you go the other way though.

On a full frame camera you'd probably get some vignetting but probably not on a 20D.
Anyway, for a graduated filter I'd get something like the Cokin or Lee filter system. The screw on type filters make you place the graduation line in the middle. With Cokin and Lee you can put the grad line where it is best for the scene.

Filter Systems. Have considered them for a while but there seems to be tons of options. Which would be recommended, a link would be most helpful.
Thanks
