| I'm helping someone find a wide angle P&S camera to use for home interiors. Ideally, it should be wider than 28mm, with decent low light performance, and less than $400. The Kodak V705 looked about right (23mm f/2.8), but I can't find it anywhere. Any suggestions? |

Panasonic has one with a 28mm wide angle, pretty sure it's the f/2.8 also. I'm not sure what the model is, I think it's FX01 or something like that.

why not just get a wide angle attachment, then adjust in photoshop later?
edit to answer my own question ... this camera is for someone who doesn't know photoshop all that well?

Yes, most of their lower-end models start at 28mm, but I was looking for something wider. |

Now that's a very good idea, although wide angle adapters often add $100 to the price. |

I looked at one, not sure which model and it was really grainy even at base ISO. I went with Canon SD800is which is 28mm. There is SD850is that should be newer model.

| The Ricoh GX100 has a 24-70 equivelant lens, but it's a little over 400. |

Not a new camera, but the Nikon 8400 has a 24mm lens on the wide end.
Could check on ebay for a used one. |
