| Virtually any lens can be a "landscape lens". You'll have to be more specific as to your expectations from the lens you're looking for. |

hmmmm, im still learning all this stuff, is there any specific lens that would maintain crisper images under longer exposure speeds? |

Edit to add: Assuming by landscape lens you mean you are looking for a wide lens

the nikon 20mm 2.8 falls in your price range. would even have some money left over to buy a nice CP filter for it,

| Landscape photography is often associated with super-wide angle (10-15 mm. range) lenses. In my personal experience, however, anything wider than 16 mm. is usually too wide and rarely useful. In the last 3 years I've been shooting somewhat seriously, I've wished I'd had a lens wider than 18 mm. in maybe 10 occasions. But I quite often wish I had a lens in the 100-400 mm. range. My advice would be that before parting with your money you continue to shoot with the 18-70 (Terrific lens) that I see in your profile until you determine exactly what you need for your purposes. |
